Joseph Allen Waters Jr. was born on January 21, 1980 in St. Louis, MO to the union of Anita (Waters) Tucker and Joseph Allen Waters Sr. Joseph Jr started his education in the St. Louis Public School District and completed in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Joseph Jr. went on to further his education at Le Cordon Bleu where he made the President's List and graduated top 3 in his class. He earned a Bachelor's of Art in Culinary Arts. Joseph Jr's love for being creative with his hands started when he was a young boy scout. His creativity is appreciated from family and friends through his cooking, wood sculptures, drawings, and poetry. Joseph Jr met Serena Canoy in the mid 2000's and never left his side supporting him through his educational and life endeavors. On September 3, 2012,  Joseph Jr. and Serena pledged their love and commitment for one another. There were no children from this union.

Joseph Jr's Grandparents, Louis E.Tucker, Shirley Tucker, Jesse E.Waters Sr, Naomi Waters, & Thelma Waters all preceded him in death. Joseph Jr leaves to mourn his memory his Loving Wife, Serena Waters, Mother - Anita (Waters) Tucker, Father- Joseph Allen Waters Sr. Mother-In-Law - Diana Canoy. 3 Daughters - Arial Waters, Aalexis Miller, & Jocalyn Miller. 5 Sisters- August Reed, Jennifer Waters, Jeanine Waters Green, Phyllis Fletcher, & Jacqueline Waters. 2 Brothers - Phillip Waters & David Waters. 2 Sister -In-Laws - Sarah Waters & Whitney Waters. 3 Brother-In-Laws - William Green, Jamal Fletcher, and Dan Canoy. 4 Nieces - Kaya Waters-Lewis, Tahani Fletcher, Naomi Fletcher, & August V Reed. 9 Nephews - Donavan Lambert, Kristopher Lambert, Corban Fletcher, Micah Waters, Bobby Reed, Marquis Reed-Oden, Pierre Reed-Oden, Maxwell Reed, and Christopher Reed. 4 Great Nieces - Arabella Fuller, Harmonie Reed, Ma'Cenze Reed-Oden, & Ma'Cori Reed-Oden. 3 Great Nephews - Bently Reed, Messiah Reed, & Blake Reed. A host of Aunts, Great Aunts, Uncles, Great Uncles, Cousins, and friends.
